Our Path

1991  - 
Company established with a focus on high-quality products and service.

1994  -
The first Sno Pusher model is designed and built for use on loaders.

1996  -
Pro-Tech develops a Sno Pusher for use on skid steers.

1997  -
A state-of-the-art, 32,000-square-foot manufacturing facility is built to keep up with production demands of the growing Sno Pusher business. Proprietary process for high-quantity manufacturing of Sno Pushers is developed.

1998  -
The Sno Pusher goes to the Pentagon.

O'Hare International Airport orders 21 30 ft. Sno Pushers.

Production begins on the FOP Series Fold Out Sno Pusher models.

1999  -
The BSP models designed for Backhoes are introduced.

Pro-Tech receives an "excellent" performance evaluation from the Air Force Academy after a two-year test. The Academy attributes their winning of the coveted Balchen Post Award for efficiency and productivity in snow removal to the Sno Pusher.

2000  -
Pro-Tech launches expanded nationwide marketing program to help build new dealerships and augment existing ones.

2001  -
Pro-Tech implements a pre-season sale discount program for its customers, launched through a nationwide direct mailer.

2002
 -
The compact Sno Pusher model is launched and breaks all sales records for a Pro-Tech new category launch.

2003
 -
Record sales indicating full industry adoption of the Sno Pusher. Several new products are developed including: the Pull-Back Sno Pusher, Backhoe Fold-out, The new 8'6" standard Fold Out, and the Angle Sno Pusher.

2004
 -
Pro-Tech develops a Research and Development model within the organization to launch and improve products at the fastest rate in the industry.

2005
 -
Pro-Tech unveils its newest product, the Switchblade to strong market reception. The unit's design allows users to choose the type of cutting edge (rubber or steel) to use based on weather and lot conditions. 

2006
 -
The IST (Ice-Scraping Technology) Sno Pusher hits the market! Pro-Tech designed it for conditions where a steel trip edge would be used, BUT moved the category forward with our IST by eliminating the use of mechanical springs or hinges that tend to breakdown over time. Instead, the IST Sno Pusher uses a urethane technology that give you the reliability and simplicity of a rubber edge Sno Pusher - WITH the benefits of a steel scraping edge.

Pro-Tech’s total number of units in the overall product mix reaches a new height with manufacturing of the Switchblade and IST in full swing!

2009

Extra time, attention, research and work were put into evaluation and optimization of our Distribution Network.

2010

Pro-Tech's "Proven Value" campaign was introduced.
