Proven Value

Proven Value.

Depending on whom you ask, those words could mean many things. Here at Pro-Tech, they mean: Quality, Price and Availability.

To our customers those words mean they get products that lead the industry in durability, they get them at prices comparable to lesser brands, and they can get them when they need them.

Strong words for sure.

While they do drive many of our marketing messages, they do not exist in the marketing world alone. They exist in our finance and operations worlds as well. They exist at the core of our company.

In fact, our operations team is measured weekly on how well they deliver proven value. To them proven value means building product that surpasses all the metrics we have outlined for quality (and have engineered into the product), it means building product efficiently, and it means building a strong inventory so our dealers and snow & ice professionals will be able to have the product before and during the season.

Value is a challenging word. Its many definitions flow over one another, but one thing is clear – it is a strong and positive word. To some it may represent a bargain, to others it may represent something of the highest order, and to others it may represent something altogether larger: values.

That extra “s” changes things quite a bit. Now we are talking about the things we believe in or the things we stand for. And I like that – because ultimately “Proven Value” is what Pro-Tech stands for.

When you stand for something, making decisions suddenly becomes very easy. When you stand for Quality, Price and Availability there are really no decisions to be made – because you do what it takes to deliver that day in and day out.

It’s a fascinating concept really – to stand for something – and then to watch how it drives action.

And I’ll leave you with that thought. It’s a good one to chew on.
